A Clean Start

Lola cleaned my office. She sorted all the beads, put them in bins and containers, and procured a label maker from our other sister, Jeanne. I am running out of excuses for my focus issues. She told me today, as I was working on a mother's bracelet for someone, that she loves what I come up with, but why does she have to beat me about the head and jump on my back to get the work done. I told her that's why she gets paid the big bucks as Focus Director. EEExxxaaaaactly. We are well stocked with Taylor bracelets, and in early September we hope to be adding some new fun designs to the page. Now that the wampum has been sorted and organized.

Peace Out . . .

Getting a hold of us

FYI - Until we have a shopping cart, you can contact Lola at (Lara@lola-and-rocco.com) or me at (Rochelle@lola-and-rocco.com) or go to our Contact Us page. We'll be glad to answer your questions about our jewelry and/or help you order a Taylor's Hope bracelet. Taylor Hicks Fans -- You Rock!!!

Back from Ocean City

The kids and I just got back from a week in Ocean City with Lola and her fam. Scott scooted out to a meeting in California blissfully missing the freak show that is the Boardwalk. Someday, ha ha, I will post a pic of Lola and I as the bearded wenches aboard the Duckaneer pirate ship.

I want to thank those of you who have taken time to comment on the blog page, and for those of you who have emailed requests for bracelets, Lola and I will be back to work tomorrow and will personally answer your emails. Several people have commented that there is no shopping cart . . . yes, and that is something we are working on! Also, the Focus Director has demanded that I get pics on the website of the four types of Taylor's Hope Bracelets we make: The Pattern, The Name, the Manclet, and the Baby versions. Peace out  . . .

Our Launch!

This has been a huge weekend! We launched our website - mostly info for now, but we are hoping to get new pieces posted soon. But the big news was the Taylor Hicks concert at Belmont benefitting Taylor Love and her family! Lola and I were given the opportunity to run a raffle to meet Taylor and to sell our beautiful Taylor's Hope Bracelets. All proceeds and profits went to Taylor's family. Baby Taylor presented Taylor Hicks with one of our men's versions of the Taylor's Hope bracelet which he wore as he performed (on his microphone arm no less!). The concert was great, the raffle raised over $3,000 for the family and we sold 30 - 40 bracelets. I always wanted to be a roadie . . .

Hello!

Welcome to our blog! We just setup this web site in July 2007, since several people had heard about the Taylor Hope bracelet and apparently had a hard time locating us. Right now the focus is on bracelets, necklaces and earrings -- I'll try to add various pieces each week, and probably should show prices. Might also show pictures of a mural or two. Please let us know what we can post here to help you.
